September Focus:

Week 4: Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) began at sundown on September 25 and will end October 2. God’s protection over His people is celebrated by remembering the “tents” the Israelites lived in while wandering in the desert. Jewish people set up a temporary structure (sukkah) in which to eat, celebrate, and sometimes sleep. Pray for the LIFE team doing outreach this week in NYC and New Jersey, for many opportunities to share the gospel.

Week 3: Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) begins at sundown on September 20 and marks the end of the 10 Days of Awe. Many spend this time in prayer, fasting, and repentance. Pray Jewish people will hear and believe Yeshua offers forgiveness to all who look to Him as Savior. May many be added to the Book of Life.

September Focus:

Week 2: Pray for Marc, serving as LIFE’s Field Ministry Director in North Carolina. Pray for Marc to be an encouragement to staff during their calls, and as they strategize according to God’s plans and purposes. Pray for the Lord’s leading and wisdom as he travels and meets with staff, joining them in outreach to share God’s heart for the Jewish people. Pray that LIFE staff would see the spiritual fruit of their efforts, and that God would provide for their needs as they serve to reach the lost sheep of the House of Israel.

September Focus:
Week 1: Beginning at sundown on Friday, September 11, our Jewish friends around the world will celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. This is a time the Jewish people remember creation. It is also the beginning of the 10-day period called Yamim Nora’im (Days of Awe). During this time, many Jewish people reflect on the past year, think about their priorities, and seek forgiveness for any wrongdoing. Pray they would find eternal forgiveness through Yeshua (Jesus), who paid the ultimate and final sacrifice for sin.
