第四週：請為拉結（Rachel）禱告，她是動員協調員（Mobilization Coordinator）。本月她在印第安納州的恩典學院（Grace College）進行招募工作；請為她禱告，讓她能依靠神所賜的智慧去接觸那些神帶領前來與她相遇的人。她在慕迪聖經學院學生的協助下，會帶領操俄語的猶太老人學習英語為第二語言的事工(ESL: English as Second Language)。也請特別為她在芝加哥的猶太朋友的得救禱告。

Week 4: Pray for Rachel, Life in Messiah’s Mobilization Coordinator. She will be recruiting this month at Grace College in Indiana. Pray she would rely on God’s wisdom as she interacts with the people He brings across her path. Please pray as she also leads the ESL ministry to elderly Russian speaking Jewish people with the help of Moody Bible Institute students. Pray specifically for the salvation of her Chicagoland Jewish friends.

Week 2: Please continue to pray for “hidden believers in Yeshua (Jesus).” No one (but the Lord) knows the number of Jesus-believers in the ultra Orthodox world. Pray for wisdom as we encounter those who are faced with daily decisions of how to live a life pleasing to the Lord, caring for their families, maintaining integrity, and desiring the salvation of their community.

第一週：住棚節（Sukkot，英譯Feast of Tabernacles）由9月29日的日落時分開始，直至10月6日的黃昏結束。這節日代表以色列人昔日在曠野漂流時所居住的「帳幕」；在這期間，神保護衪的子民，他們為此慶祝。猶太人會搭建一個臨時帳棚（sukkah），並在帳棚內用膳、慶祝及偶而住宿。請為我們同工所撒下的福音種籽禱告，當這節日裏，他們多有機會分享福音！

October Focus: 

Week 1: Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles), began at sundown on September 29 and will end the evening of October 6. It represents the “tents” the Israelites lived in while wandering in the desert. During this time God’s protection over His people is celebrated. Jewish people set up a temporary structure (sukkah) in which to eat, celebrate, and sometimes sleep. Please pray for the seeds planted by our staff as they have many opportunities to share the gospel during this meaningful holiday!
