十月禱告焦點：

第四週：請為米高和布蘭迪（Michael and Brandy）祈禱，他們預備在以色列服侍。他們會在耶路撒冷市中心，作全職教牧關懷和輔導工作。他們剛結婚，並在四月加入了LIFE團隊。米高完成了「彌賽亞猶太研究」道學碩士學位，而布蘭迪的「婚姻及家庭治療」碩士學位課程正處於完成階段，其專注範疇是創傷輔導。他倆現正努力邁出建立其伙伴團隊非常重要的第一步。請禱告，求神幫助他們把與神同行放在首位，他們的婚姻能繼續成長，充滿生命力，並最終為神所使用，藉着他們賜福予其他人，以耶穌基督的愛去接觸以色列人。

October Focus:

Week 4: Please pray for Michael and Brandy as they prepare to serve in Israel through full-time pastoral care and counseling ministry in the heart of Jerusalem. They are newly married and joined LIFE in April! Michael has his Master of Divinity in Messianic Jewish Studies and Brandy is finishing her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, with an emphasis on trauma counseling. As they work hard on the very important first step of building their partnership team, please pray that they would put their walk with God first, their marriage would continue to grow and be full of life, and that ultimately God will use them to bless and reach the people of Israel with Jesus' love.

第三週：住棚節（Sukkot英譯Feast of Tabernacles）於10月16日的日落時分開始，至10月23日的黃昏結束。這節期是紀念昔日以色列人在曠野漂流及居住在「帳幕」的事蹟。住棚節期間，人們會慶祝神對其子民的保護;猶太人會搭建一個臨時帳棚（sukkah），並在帳棚內進食、慶祝和有時睡覺。請為我們同工撒下的福音種籽禱告，求神賜予更多機會，可以在這充滿意義的節期分享福音。

Week 3: Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) began at sundown on October 16 and will end the evening ofOctober 23. It represents the “tents” the Israelites lived in while wandering in the desert. During this timeGod’s protection over His people is celebrated. Jewish people set up a temporary structure (sukkah) in whichto eat, celebrate, and sometimes sleep. Please pray for the seeds planted by our staff as they have manyopportunities to share the gospel during this meaningful holiday!

第一週：10月7日是哈馬斯恐襲一周年。請繼續為悲痛的猶太群體祈禱。Yom Kippur（贖罪日）於10月11日的日落時分開始，乃為期十天「可畏之日」（Days of Awe）的結束。很多猶太人會在這期間祈禱、禁食和懺悔。禱告，願更多人聽到福音，並相信耶穌基督已為所有信靠衪為救主的人預備了永遠的寬恕。

Week 1: October 7 marks the one-year anniversary of the horrific attack from Hamas. Please continue topray for the grieving Jewish community. Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) begins at sundown on October 11 and marks the end of the 10 Days of Awe. Many spend this time in prayer, fasting, and repentance. Pray many will hear and believe Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) offers everlasting forgiveness to all who look to Him as Savior.

第五週：從十月二日（星期三）的日落開始，世界各地的猶太朋友都會慶祝猶太新年（Rosh Hashanah）。這是記念神創造世界的時刻，同時也是為期十天的「可畏之日」（Yamim Nora'im，英譯Days of Awe）的開始。在這段時間，很多猶太人會就過去一年，進行反思，想一想其人生優次，並為所犯的錯誤尋求寬恕。祈求神，幫助他們藉著耶穌得到永遠的寬恕，耶穌已經為罪付上最終的贖價。

Week 5: Beginning at sundown on Wednesday, October 2, our Jewish friends around the world will celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. This is a time of remembering creation and is the beginning of the 10-day period called Yamim Nora’im (Days of Awe). During this time, many Jewish people reflect on the past year, think about their priorities, and seek forgiveness for any wrongdoing. Pray they would find eternal forgiveness through Yeshua (Jesus), who paid the ultimate and final sacrifice for sin.
