Week 3: Pray for Life in Messiah’s newest staff members Gerardo (Mexico) and Marc (North Carolina). Gerardo is focused on LIFE’s online ministry, in both English and Spanish. Marc’s previous years of ministry experience, including volunteering with our campus ministry, adds great value. We’re grateful to God for leading these godly men to serve with us.

第三週：請為拉結（Rachel）禱告，她去年剛加入差會擔任動員協調員（Mobilization Coordinator）。她負責同工招募的工作，本週的招募地點是在伊利諾伊州的慕迪宣教大會（Moody Missions Conference）。本月稍後的招募地點是在印第安納州的恩典學院（Grace College）。此外，請祈禱記念她所帶領的ESL宣教事工，她會與慕迪神學院的學生一同探訪年老的猶太人。..

She will be recruiting this week at Moody Missions Conference in Illinois and later this month at Grace College in Indiana. Please pray as she also leads the ESL ministry to elderly Jewish people with the help of Moody Bible Institute students.

第二週：住棚節（Sukkot，英譯Feast of Tabernacles）開始於10月9日的日落時分。Sukkot的意思是 “帳棚”，它代表以色列人昔日在曠野漂流時所居住的 “帳棚”。這是慶祝神保護衪子民的日子。慶祝住棚節時，猶太人會搭建一個臨時帳棚（sukkah），並在內進食。請繼續為我們的同工禱告，願他們在這個意義重大的節期中，得着更多機會，與周圍的人分享福音！..

Week 2: Beginning at sundown on October 9, Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles), represents the “tents” the Israelites lived in while wandering in the desert. This is a time to celebrate God’s protection over His people. To celebrate Sukkot, Jewish people set up a temporary structure (sukkah) in which to eat and celebrate. Please keep our staff in prayer as they will have many opportunities to share the gospel during this meaningful holiday!

第一週：贖罪日（“Yom Kippur”，英譯 “the Day of Atonement” ）開始於10月4日的日落時分，即是為期十天的「可畏之日」的最後一日。在這段期間，很多猶太人都會祈禱及懺悔。猶太人會以“G’mar chatima tova” （英譯“May you be sealed in the Book of Life”）這一句經典的祝福語互相祝福，其意是「願你被刻在《生命冊》」。祈求神使更多人能得聞及相信彌賽亞耶穌，就是那位賜永遠寬恕給那些願意以祂為救主的人。..

Week 1: Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) begins at sundown on October 4 and is the end of the ten Days of Awe. Many spend this time in prayer and repentance. A traditional greeting is “G’mar chatima tova” (“May you be sealed in the Book of Life”). Pray many will hear and believe Messiah Yeshua offers everlasting forgiveness to all who look to Him as Savior.
